La menagerie de Mathilde
Parisian jewelry designer, Mathilde de Turckheim was born in Beirut, raised in France, spent several years in West Africa, and now resides in New York City.
Living in such rich and varied cultures, fueled de Turckheim’s imagination at an early age, inspiring her to create vibrant, bold and delicate pieces. Is it Art, Decoration, Jewelry? Her little Menagerie of colourful Rabbits, Dolls and Dogs is made of vintage Japanese printed silk fabrics, felt, fresh-water-pearls, glass beads, semi-precious stones and many other poetic ingredients. Mathilde De Turcheim is represented by Shop Art Gallery. Her collection will be featured at the next Bubble New York March 8-10.
