Nobodinoz. Ask Bubble

Bubble knows one of the most avant-garde kids store in Europe. Nobodinoz in Barcelona, Spain. In a clean white space on calle Seneca, this is a true concept store, with products from across the board: furniture, toys, accessories, some clothes and lots of one-time collaboration with artists. We love the baby changing room that looks like a spaceship from Matali Crasset. www.nobodinoz.com

It's all in the name...

After we heard about Creme de la Creme a la Edgar, nothing could have been the same in the field of kids stores names! Specialist of nordic designers such as Marimekko and Holly's, and more classic names like Sonia Rykiel & Repetto, owner Helle Hogsbro Krag has a beautifully funky store in Copenhagen. With a background as costumier, she conceives her her shop as "a secret look inside a children’s universe full of humour, warmth and an inspiring view on the world." Because we all love to laugh: www.cremedelacremealaedgar.dk

Why Water?

Y Water™ – a new super drink that combines leading design; playful, recyclable packaging; and low-calorie, organic ingredients specifically formulated to meet the developmental needs of growing children. We have tested, it's well designed (thanks to Yves Behar!), it's fun, it's clever and kid's love it!
Y Water will be at Bubble New York in August and distributed all over the US soon, so stay tuned! www.ywater.us

Once upon a time...

...there was a vintage lover named Ashlyn, and she had a sweet daughter named Olive who had a best friend called Alfie...Ashlyn opened OliveLovesAlfie three years ago and it has become a real shopping-destination. The difference? design classics that evoke a sense of nostalgia. A lot of scandinavian designers, toys that need no batteries, and vintage pieces that are scouted all over the world. A lovingly edited merchandising proves that a small shop in the East End of London can do it in the kids retail world. www.olivelovesalfie.co.uk

Happy Birthday Little Smoocher

There's a cool baby store on Yonge street in Toronto and it just turned one-year last week...! A first year of many accomplishments for Penelope Giaouris, the owner. She draws inspiration from Bubble (bien sur!) but most of all the chic little kids that she sees on her regular trips to NY. Smoochie Baby has the vibe of a New York loft, with clean white cabinets and natural bamboo floors, blending in design room decor products, smart books & toys, clothing and her own Smoochie line. www.smoochiebaby.ca

TERRIFIC!

This is what we call the dream formula : innovative graphics + carefully selected brands + amazing style + sustainability.

Enfant terrible "hopes to become a firm mainstay of understated and quiet elegance in an environment oversaturated with tastelessness and noise". They have our benediction!

Don't lose time and visit www.enfantterribleshop.com

Mini-Me Petit Aime

Another retail treasure just opened in Notting Hill, London: Petit Aime at 34 Ledbury Road. What's new? A retail concept that goes back to the idea of having brand corners, and not mixing it all up. How refreshing! Especially when it is done so beautifully. Bonton, Lucco, Isabel Marrant, Antik Batik.... The common thread is French design, with this little je ne sais quoi.. www.aimelondon.com

Retail & Photography, a collaboration of art

If you happen to be in Paris May 13th & 14th, stop by Place des Vosges for the ultimate work of art between kids photographer Anna Palma, and exquisite New York cum Japanese retailers Makie + Yuji Ogata.
